- Voluntarily provide your information to a member of our team for the purpose of future communications
We also collect your data indirectly from the following sources:
How will we use your data?
Period Reality collects your data so that, as a member of our community, we can:
- Share our newsletter, “Periodics”, if you are subscribed to our mailing list.
- Keep you updated with relevant programs if you sign up for such updates.
When we collect your data for research, we can:
- Analyse your data for the research project in which you are taking part.
- As part of our cycle-tracking program: after completing our three-month tracking phase and the subsequent evaluation, we will continue to store the collected tracking data anonymously and delete your identifying data, so the tracking data can no longer be associated with you.
For case studies and impact assessment reports:
- We will analyse your information, stories and/or quotes and include them in reports to share with funders and our wider community.
- Period Reality’s case study consent form allows you to choose to have your story or quotes shared anonymously — without your name and/or identifying features, photos and videos.
We will not share your data with other companies or individuals without your explicit consent.
How do we store your data?
- Period Reality stores your data on a cloud server with restricted access.
- We will continue to keep your data if you are subscribed to our mailing list, or you have given express consent to keep up to date with relevant Period Reality programs. You may always opt out at a later date by unsubscribing to our newsletter or emailing hello@periodreality.org.
- As part of our cycle-tracking program and research, we will keep your personal identification information for the duration of the tracking programme until the completion of the subsequent evaluation. Once the evaluation concludes, we will delete your personal identification information and store the collected tracking data anonymously.
- For our case study and impact assessment reports, Period Reality may use content featuring individuals (including photos, videos, audio recordings, stories, quotes, or artwork) for as long as it remains relevant to our charitable purposes. When content or associated personal data is no longer relevant, we will securely delete it in line with GDPR policies.
